Synopsis
Easton Walker is the bane of my existence. A thorn in my side. And… my new fake husband.
As the hottest hockey player in the league, he has everyone eating out of the palm of his hand. Everyone except for me. I’m not falling for his crooked grin, chiseled jaw, or broad shoulders. I made that mistake once, before I knew who he was, and I still felt the sting of his rejection.
Now I’m stuck working with him. He does everything in his power to get under my skin, but no matter how much he vexes me, I can’t deny the electric attraction that sparks between us.
When my mom gets sick, he’s the last person I expect to come to my aid. I need a husband so I can access my trust fund to pay for her treatments. He needs to makeover his image to convince everyone he’s changed his playboy ways. So, he proposes a marriage of convenience.
In public, I’ll be his doting wife, and he’ll be my devoted husband, but behind closed doors our relationship will remain strictly platonic.
That is, until he catches me in a… compromising position. And all his tightly held control begins to unravel.
Letting Easton into my bed is probably a mistake, but letting him into my heart could be catastrophic.
