Synopsis
I only dated one person my entire life—my brother’s best friend. After our relationship of over a decade, he didn’t just break up with me…he moved away, leaving me behind to tend to my broken heart.
Once I moved from denial to utter sadness to sheer anger, I settled on indifference and decided I was entitled to a rebound. You know, for a little self-esteem boost before considering another serious relationship.
A man in town for a temporary employment assignment could be just what I need. He was also recovering from a bad breakup after a long-term relationship. I thought maybe we could learn what it would be like to date someone new again… together.
